Introducing Katie Bales: The New Representative from California for the PCSO
The Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists new representative from California is Dr Katie Bales. Dr Bales has an impressive resume, and her forte is working with the critical issue task force which is focused on staffing that she now chairs. Her goal is to work on the shortage of clinical staff, and she is already taking steps towards achieving that.
Dr Bales is a busy woman with three kids, ages 4, 7, and 8, as well as two orthodontic locations and two associate doctors. However, this does not stop her from being an active member of the PCSO. She has worked in leadership roles at a number of organizations, including the dental society for 8 years and California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) for 8 years.
Dr Bales believes that volunteering is one of the most important things we can do for the future, and her inspiration for this belief comes from her father. He was involved in volunteering and leadership from the local dental society, then CAO, and finally the PCSO. Katie gives a lot, but she also learns a great deal from her colleagues, and she feels lucky to be a part of this fantastic organization.
Katie wants to continue representing a single-owner practice that is middle-sized, and she hopes that she still represents a good portion of the PCSO members. She is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the world, and with her new position in the PCSO, she will undoubtedly do just that.
Dr Katie Bales is a remarkable person who has dedicated her life to helping others. Her passion for volunteering and leadership is contagious, and she is an inspiration to everyone she meets. As the new representative from California for the PCSO, she has big plans for addressing the critical issue of staffing shortages in clinical and admin positions.
