One of Dr. Shannon’s favorite memories is when she attended Outside Lands, an outdoor music festival held annually in Golden Gate Park. After indulging in some alcoholic beverages, she lost her flip-flops while Dave Matthews was playing and had to walk 20 blocks home barefoot!
Dr. Shannon is also known for her sense of humor. In denture lab, a classmate tried to help her refill her alcohol torch. Unfortunately, the torch was on, and her denture book and backpack caught on fire. Despite the mishap, her eyebrows remained unscathed.
