The Annual Session Honoree Award is an award given to a PCSO member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and professional qualities and who has given unselfishly of their time and talent to promote the association and the orthodontic profession. It may be given each year, if chosen, or as decided upon by the Board of Directors of the PCSO through their awards committee.  The Annual Session Honoree Award is not necessarily awarded each year.

Criteria for the award are:

• Years of service
• PCSO committee positions;
• Terms as an AAO Delegate;
• AAO Council positions held;
• PCSO Officer positions held;
• Willingness to serve;
• Effectiveness as a leader;
• Role model and mentor potential;
