In celebration of Women’s History Month, we continue our features with today’s article about Dr. Lindsay L. Don. Originally from Tucson, AZ, Dr. Lindsay Don grew up in a family of dentists, with 11 dentists in her family. Dr. Don is a third-generation dentist and a second-generation orthodontist. It was no surprise that she followed in her family’s footsteps and embarked on a career in dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona before attending the University of the Pacific, where she earned her dental degree in 2008.After dental school Dr. Lindsay practiced general dentistry for 4 years before attending Seton Hill University for her orthodontic residency.

A Successful Career
After completing her education, Dr. Don had the privilege of practicing alongside her father for two years before he retired. This invaluable experience allowed her to gain practical insights that she carries with her every day. Dr. Don has since established herself as a trusted orthodontist, with a thriving practice supported by her dedicated business partner, Dr. Eric Leber.

Dr. Lindsay Don’s commitment to her profession extends beyond private practice. She currently serves as the orthodontist on the craniofacial team and is also a faculty member for the orthodontic portion of the pediatric residency at NYU Langone. Her involvement in these roles showcases her dedication to advancing the field and providing comprehensive care to patients with complex craniofacial conditions.

A Life Outside of the Office
Even with her busy schedule, Dr. Don finds time to pursue her passion for fitness and exploring the great outdoors. She is an ardent traveler, always seeking new adventures and cultural experiences. Dr. Don shares her life with her husband, Stephen Torowicz. Dr. Don loves her three furry companions – Wilbur, Charlotte, and Nellie. Charlotte, a therapy dog, accompanies her to work every day, while Nellie, with her cleft lip and palate, has a special place in Dr. Don’s heart.
